We are an Independent Artisan Bakery, we believe quality and freshness are most important. Therefore baking takes place all day and night to offer you the best products. Items are made individually and by hand.

 

The team - Our success relies heavily on the fabulous effort and team work that each and every staff member provides. Our bakery products are produced by 6 skilled bakers and cake makers who have over 150 years experience between them. Norman is the manager, Terry on cakes & Bogdan is our favourite polish baker. The team of 10 friendly shop staff have a diverse age range of 15-60 years old.

 

Throughout the year we offer a steady stream of work experience to anyone who would like our help. Anything from taster days to 3 months of confidence and skills building. In the last year alone we have had over 25 people come through to us from school work experience programs, crisis , remploy, young carers & many more.

Please always be patient with my team , we all start somewhere & just because something is not visible it doesnt mean they are not struggling or overcoming something by serving you. Look out for our 'In training' pinnies people & crack a smile :)

As a company we are trying really hard to reduce our carbon footprint and use small local companies.

- 98 % of our products are made or baked within 1 mile of the shop.

We use energy saving light bulbs.

- We cook with free range eggs.
